Improvement of oil recovery factor in tight reservoirs: A laboratory approach based on carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery methods

Production from unconventional oil reservoirs has always been a critical issue for the industry. In this regard, we implemented set of experimental scenarios containing CO 2 /N cyclic injection, foams generated by nitrogen and carbon dioxide, dioxide combined effect surfactant enhanced recovery methods. As water injection reached plateau around two pore volume continued tests different scenarios. It was observed that -foam highest factor 34.9%; however, -foam, regarding more feasibility than N , witnessed after -foam. On other hand, incremental flooding, carbonated with flooding is measured at 4.9, 8.5, 10.6%, respectively.
